We contacted the hotel in advance to ask about the view from the room and we constantly sent emails to upgrade, however we were already in a upgraded room. Yes the little room challenge to get a pop badge is fun, but the room overall was dark and without the view, it's just another room comparable to a Holiday Inn. We booked a African family room as it had the separate sleeping area for the children, which was themed amazingly, the kids loved it. We asked to speak to the manager who refused to talk to us but still I sister we had to pay for the extra adult and to take it up with the site they use to sell their rooms (even though we did it through their webpage) we were just going around in circles so we left it and headed to the park. So I asked at the front desk 30 minutes later I got a answer!! and inside were two pop badges, would have been nice to maybe have a little more ( could have put the lanyards we collected at reception on there just to make it a little more exciting) the double bed was lovely and comfy but the bunk beds were AWFUL! So not only restricting those of us who stick soft drinks, but actively encouraging adults to consume alcohol at a family theme park not only in front of children, but probably whilst theyre being responsible for their own.
